The Milwaukee Brewers and the Salvation Army are teaming up to help feed Milwaukee children this summer.
Monday afternoon, Brewers outfielder Andrew McCutchen and pitching coach Chris Hook helped prepare 750 sack lunches at American Family Field.
The meals will help Milwaukee kids living in underserved communities.
Every day, volunteers will bag 900 to 1,000 lunches to go to kids in 21 neighborhoods on the city's north and south sides.
The lunches contain a sandwich, chips, cheese sticks, applesauce and water/juice.
The program runs through Aug. 26.
