Programs and services vary by location based on available resourches and local needs. Here is a sample list of the kinds of asssistance offered by Service Units.
|Emergency assistance - families and individuals experiencing financial hardships are served by our volunteers with food, clothing and utility/heating assistance|
|Disaster Services Service Unit volunteers assist first responders and those impacted by fires, flood and other disasters using mobile kitchen trucks known as canteens.|
|Good Neighbor Energy Fund - asssists families who do not qualify for other utility assistance pograms. To qualify for assistance from the MA Good Neighbor Energy Fund, an applicant's gross household income must fall between 60 and 80 percent of the state's median income levels.|
|Camp Wonderland The Service Unit department, in cooperation with our volunteers across the state, recruits children to enjoy a week of overnight camping at our beautiful Camp Wonderland in Sharon, MA.|
|Kettle Fund Raising Local volunteers can help "keep the bell ringing" in their home town while raising funds to be used year round helping those in need.|
