Registration will take place at our New Bedford Corps Community Center at 619 Purchase Street.

SignUps:
Tuesday October 30 thru Friday, November 16, and also Tuesday November 27th thru Friday, November 22nd.   

Daily hours for applications will be 9:30am-11:45am. The office is closed Saturday and Sunday. 

Evening hours Thursday November 8th and Thusday November 21th from 5:00pm-7:30pm. Full time students or people fulfilling commnity service hours during the day will need to bring documention of such to be seen in the evening

Anyone wishing to apply for food assistance and toys for their children (ages infant to 16) will need to bring the following documentation:

For Indididuals receiving welfare, Social Security, SSI or Disability:

  • Original Photo I.D. for Adults
  • Original Mass. Health Cards and Original Birth Certificates for all children in home
  • Official rent receipt or bill with name & current address dated within last 2 months for all adults
     
For Indididuals who are employed or receiving unemployment benefits 
  • Original Photo I.D. for Adults
  • Two recent pay stubs or unemployment stubs
  • Original Mass. Health Cards and Original Birth Certificates for all children in home
  • Official rent receipt or bill with name & current address dated within last 2 months for all adults
Please note:
  • If more than one family live in one household, each family should apply separately.
  • Anyone 18 or older wishing to apply separately will need to provide photo ID, proof of income, and proof of residence.
  • Anyone having foster children in their household, please bring child’s passport.
