We open our arms and hearts to give families the support they need to grow.

Helping a family thrive starts by ensuring their basic needs are met, then walking alongside them. Our programs do just that! We also come alongside families by providing space for them to do life together at our community centers. Families receive the physical, emotional and spiritual support they need through our programs to foster better, brighter futures together. For children, this includes after-school programs, a safe place to play, summer camps, and music programs they might not otherwise have the opportunity to experience.

The Salvation Army helps families thrive through:

Music Programs

Music for every age group! Join us Tuesdays to grow as a musician and connect with others on the same path. Our music programs include:

  • Timbrels | 4:00 p.m.
  • Singing Company | 4:30 p.m.
  • Brass Instruction | 5:00 p.m.
  • Senior Songsters | 7:15 p.m.
  • Senior Band | 8:00 p.m.
Camp Wonderland

For many kids, Camp Wonderland is the first time they will see the world outside of their neighborhood. Here, children learn new skills and self-reliance. Trained counselors who understand their emotional needs help them mature and grow. Camp activities include learning to swim, scouting, arts, crafts, music development, and sports.

Bridging the Gap

For more than 25 years, The Salvation Army's Bridging the Gap between Youth and Community Services® program has been giving Massachusetts court-involved and at-risk youth, aged 12-18, a second chance. The 12-week curriculum includes topics such as building self-esteem; how to deal with peer pressure; anger management and decision making; communication skills; relationships with family members, friends, figures of authority; culture and diversity; violence and gangs; the effects of drugs and alcohol, job seeking and financial planning, legal issues and ethics. Teens also learn about the resources available in their community.

Broken families can be healed. You can help.
