I AM COMMUNITY. I AM COMPASSION. I AM FAITH. I AM HOPE. I AM AN ARMY.
Doing the Most Good...The Salvation Army’s promise of “Doing the Most Good” is seen in every aspect of our work throughout our 135-year history in Massachusetts. The phrase “Doing the Most Good” originated from Evangeline Booth who once said, “There is no reward equal to that of doing the most good to the most people in the most need.” Every day we open our doors and our hearts to our neighbors when they need us the most. As one of the largest non-profit organizations in the country, we are proud to serve every zip code across Massachusetts. Because of donors like you, we are meeting the needs of individuals with compassion and dignity, which are the touchstones of our organization. Through your support, we serve millions of people annually by directly targeting the needs of their local communities. We are constantly reminded of how The Salvation Army impacts the lives of generations of New Englanders.
